Professor, Department of Pediatrics, Georgetown University and Director of Professional Development atCenter for Child and Human Development. He is a faculty member of the GU Minors in Education, Inquiry and Justice and Disability Studies.
Dr. Long received her bachelor's degree in physical therapy from Boston University, her master's degree in early childhood special education from George Washington University, and her doctorate in human development from the University of Maryland. He is on the editorial boards of Physical and Occupational Therapy in Pediatrics and Infants and Toddlers. He is the author of more than 60 peer-reviewed publications including The Handbook of Pediatric Physical Therapy, Third Edition. Dr. Long is the recipient of a variety of prestigious awards, including the Lucy Blair Service Award from the American Physical Therapy Association, the Jeanne Fisher Distinguished Mentoring Award from the American Academy of Pediatric Physical Therapists, and the Bud Dehaven Award from the American Academy of Pediatric Physical Therapists. She was named a Catherine Worthingham Fellow by the American Physical Therapy Association.
In addition, Dr. Long works with colleagues to serve infants and toddlers with disabilities and delays using modern, evidence-based practices throughout Eastern Europe, Central Asia, the Gulf region and Asia.

Founding member of the Society of Greek Developmental Pediatricians. Scientific Manager of the Panhellenic School of Parallel Support Attendants. Former scientific manager of the public health department of P&A Kyriakou Children's Hospital.
Mother of two daughters, born in Athens and graduated from Arsakeio Psychiko School. He holds a degree from the Semmelweis University School of Medicine in Budapest. She completed her training at the Pediatric Clinic of the Regional Hospital of Rhodes and later at the Pediatric Clinic of the "Agios Panteleimon - Nice" General Hospital.
He did specialized training in "Developmental Pediatrics" at the 3rd Pediatric Clinic of the University of Athens, at "Attikon" Hospital. She is a member of the Hellenic Network of Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), the Hellenic Society for the Study of ADHD, the Hellenic Society for Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics and is in charge of academic studies at the Panhellenic Partner Support School.
From 2007 to May 14, 2020, he was a member of the medical staff at "P. & A. Kyriakou" Children's Hospital: from 2010 to January 2019 she was the Scientific Director of the Developmental Clinic in the Department of Public Health and from 2012 she was also the director. In May 2020, he resigned from the National Health System (NHS) and joined the Scientific Group of Pediatric Endocrine Clinics, taking over the direction of the Developmental Department.

She attended medical school as a scholar at the Izhevsk State Medical Academy (1989) and chose to complete her undergraduate studies in Occupational Therapy at the Technological Educational Institute of Athens (TEI) (1999). He holds a BTEC Professional Diploma in SLD-Dyslexia from the UK (2011).
In (2005) she founded the "Children's Laboratory" under her direction. She has been working there for the past 25 years as a clinical pediatric Occupational Therapist, specializing in sensorimotor and neurodevelopmental interventions, birth defects and special learning disabilities for children aged 12 months to 18 years.
She is recognized and authorized to administer the A' TEST – Preschool Screening Test (2000), Sensory Integration Intervention (2000), Portage Early Intervention Program Trainer (2002), Listening Program (2008), ATHENA test (2010), SOS Feeding Approach (2016), and many other therapeutic approaches such as TEACCH, PECS, MAKATON, MORE, CBD, etc., taking place in her field, with continuing education until 2023.
He is a member of the Association of Greek Occupational Therapists and the Panhellenic Union of Owners of Primary Care and Mental Health Units for children, adolescents and families.

She received her degree in Occupational Therapy from the Technological Educational Institute of Athens (TEI) in 2007.
She founded 'Smiley Kids' under her direction.
He practiced in the field of occupational therapy focusing mainly on pediatrics and early intervention for children from 16 months to 3 years, preschool and school-aged children with developmental disorders including but not limited to autism spectrum disorders, speech and developmental delays, syndromes such as Cri du Chat (CDC), Down syndrome, Rett syndrome, etc., attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and sensory integration issues.
She is certified in Sensory Integration intervention and Video Modeling in autism.
In addition, he volunteered in programs such as POSGAMEA, the Ministry of Health & Welfare Camps as an Assistant and the Panhellenic Association of Adapted Sports & Cultural Activities.
